My name is Joseph, from life's beginning, I was a preemie, 21/2 pounds at birth, with epilepsy. I struggled with Learning it was a difficult journey, from the beginning, I had to develop my own, odd way of seeing this world. This made learning a greater challenge for me, mostly resolving the common everyday problems I,e, focus, talking and relating to others.
Social interaction was awkward. Dealing with seizures added the pressures of making friends, as the years progressed, I struggled keeping up with my peers, I leaned toward a more creative path, as a result of isolation. First I started with drawing, and then more towards visual media.
Which became far easier than verbal communications, it was far easier for me to absorb the visual, than was reading, writing, and or pronunciation. Being more adapted to, more than any of the other learning tools.
So, I began doodling, then, drawing, and then sketching online through "MS Paint."
This helped me to bring my craft, to show this strangely perceived world around me.
Jumping ahead, years, being different than all of my peers, I became introverted, then melancholy, holding to the only real friend I had ever known in my life,
"Art"
turn out to be my saving grace, the tool by which I would begin to relate to others through this radically perceived plane.
I still have quirks that I kept from my youth, and as far as the common person would perceive me, still quite odd.
But I digress, forwarding to today,
I still retain many of my hard-to-shake oddities of perception.
But, I have learned through the years of hard work, and perseverance, to use them to my advantage, it is through "the creative expressions." and it is through that venue, that I come to you today.
